Do you every have one of those days where it seems like everything you use runs out? Well, today was that day for me. In the shower I ran out of conditioner. After the shower, I ran out of lotion. (I also had an empty contact solution bottle on the counter waiting to be recycled from yesterday.) While getting the kids breakfast we finished off two different boxes of Pop-Tarts and a bottle of syrup. While making their lunches I finished a loaf of bread, the deli ham, a bag of chips, the carrots, a container of applesauce, a plate of cookies from Grandma, and juice boxes. And this was all before 7:30 a.m. when the kids get on the bus!
Look out Wal-Mart, here I come!

The Good, Bad News
Last Friday, I had an upper GI.
The good news is, I think they have found out what is wrong with me.
Finally!
I have acid reflux, a hiatal hernia, and ulcers.
No wonder I have not been feeling well.
They have me on Protonix for the acid reflux and thankfully my insurance is now paying for it.
I am suppose to see a gastroenterologist as soon as possible. So after giving the nurse times I was available this week and next, she called the Dr. to set up an appointment. Well when she called back to tell me the date it is set for March 23rd.
So much for getting in right away.
I am hoping they will not have to do surgery to repair the hernia.
Maybe I should have kept my gallbladder!
